Our training income helps support funding the work of our charity and helping people recovering from mental health challenges and the wider community to live well.
This is a two-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course. Become a certified Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®) with CPSL Mind and gain the confidence to support others.
MHFA provides attendees with the skills to:
1. Recognise the signs of poor mental health
2. Have the confidence to start a conversation
3. Create an action plan
4. Know where to signpost for further support
The menopause can be life-changing physically, but over 40% of people experiencing it aren’t aware of the mental health impact of this life stage. Nearly 70% of people going through the menopause experience anxiety, depression, and other psychological symptoms. This training has been developed in response to increase awareness about the significant impact the menopause can have on a person’s wellbeing.

With 9 out of 10 women in the UK workforce reporting adverse effects on their work and a portion deciding to leave their jobs completely, this training helps employers and their staff by learning how to support a person’s wellbeing and their work life.
Our topical training sessions cover a range of subjects around mental health and wellbeing. With easy-to-understand information, you can gain practical knowledge and useful tips in just one hour with these bite-sized training sessions.
As communities face increasing hardship, staff and volunteers may encounter stress and hopelessness and as a result feel stressed and overwhelmed themselves. Support from community and third sector organisations has become even more vital and in demand. This mental health and wellbeing programme is a joint venture delivered by CPSL Mind and Living Sport with funding kindly provided by Living Sport. This course will update your knowledge of mental health support and refresh your skills to ensure you’re equipped for the role. Additionally, you’ll gain unlimited access to support, learning, online events, digital tools through the MHFAider® Support App® for 3 years.
