STOP Suicide Campaign 2026

People across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are being encouraged to help change the way suicide is talked about — by learning how to recognise when someone may be struggling and by having open, supportive conversations.

The key message for the 2026 campaign on World Suicide Prevention Day is One conversation can save a life.

Men's Health Campaign

Our January 2025 campaign is  called ‘Are you sure you’re alright, mate?’ and highlights that in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, the suicide rate was highest for men aged 50-54. This new campaign encourages people to check in on their friend, colleague, family member, neighbour, and anyone in their community.
