The accreditation ensures that CPSL Mind’s training programs meet the rigorous standards set by Mind, reinforcing the team’s dedication to improving mental health awareness, support, and care. Through this partnership, CPSL Mind can deliver expert-led sessions designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to better understand and respond to mental health challenges in the workplace and community.

Ruth Grammer, Training Manager at CPSL Mind, said, ‘We are thrilled to be one of the Local Minds to achieve enhanced accreditation, which enables us to deliver National Mind training packages. The National Mind training offer consists of four adaptable courses that can be delivered as a full-day or half-day session. We have already received numerous enquiries about these and look forward to delivering the bookings we have received.”

By attaining this accreditation, CPSL Mind not only highlights the quality of its training but also strengthens its position as a trusted leader in mental health advocacy and education. The leading local mental health charity in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire is proud to continue making a positive impact and supporting mental wellbeing for so many people every week.

The training options include:

  • Mental health awareness
  • Managing mental health at work
  • Mental health and how to support someone
  • Customer support and mental health

Research from the national mental health charity, Mind, shows that work is the biggest cause of stress in our lives. Even more than money problems. Stress can stop people from being their best. CPSL Mind can help your organisation understand how to best support people and create a mentally healthy workplace.

Some of the unique selling points of the course include:

  • Courses are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited
  • Extensive learner takeaway to support employees after the courses
  • Consistent course across two nations

Commenting on the accreditation, Anne Streather, Trainer at CPSL Mind, said, “I am delighted to deliver the National Mind courses, centred around our mental health in the workplace and life overall.  I believe Workplace training can be transformational in terms of motivation, effectiveness and cost, and awareness of our mental health can significantly enhance the wellbeing of ourselves and others.

As with all Mind courses, they are inclusive and respectful, and although sessions are interactive, there is no expectation to share personal experiences.  Safety around the sensitive nature of mental health is paramount, with care and the offer of follow-up support.”
