Staff from Peterborough based Bonacia have chosen local mental health charity CPSL Mind as their Charity of the Year for 2019.

On Friday 8th March, a 20 strong team of staff from local printing company Bonacia team swapped their comfy beds for a sleeping bag for a night. With the help of Springfield Farm Campsite who very generously hosted the sleep out, they were able to raise an amazing £3,285. The team chose to do a sleep out as one of their fundraising activities to highlight the issues and personal challenge caused by homelessness and mental health. Bonacia have a goal to raise £10,000 by the end of 2019 for CPSL Mind.

Lynsey Evans, from Bonacia, commented, “The Bonacia Big Sleep Out was a great way to kick-start our fundraising for CPSL Mind and to help raise awareness that mental health difficulties can lead to homelessness. We look forward to promoting the subject of mental health over the year as well as fundraising for CPSL Mind.”

Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser for CPSL Mind, “We are extremely honoured that Bonacia have selected CPSL Mind as their Charity of the Year for 2019 and we are greatly looking forward to working with them this year on their fundraising events. The money raised from this event will help fund our vital services and enable us to continue supporting local individuals in their recovery from mental health challenges. A huge well done to everyone who took part in the sleep out.”
