Thank you to our Chair, Andréa

After eight and a half years of dedicated leadership, we are saying a heartfelt thank you to Andréa Grosbois as she steps down as Chair of CPSL Mind.

During her time as Chair, Andréa has helped guide the organisation through growth, change and challenge, always keeping our purpose and values at the centre of decision-making. Andréa’s leadership has supported the development of our strategy, strengthened our governance, championed collaboration and helped build strong foundations for the future. Through it all, Andréa has remained committed to our vision of thriving local communities, where good mental health and wellbeing enable everyone to live well in ways that are meaningful for them.

Andréa shares her reflections of her time at CPSL Mind:

“It has been a real privilege to serve as Chair of CPSL Mind and to be part of the organisation’s journey over the past eight and a half years. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together – growing the support we offer,  strengthening partnerships, delivering award-winning suicide prevention campaigns and reaching more people who need our support. Throughout it all, we’ve focused on the people we’re here to support and their families, making sure their voices and experiences genuinely shape the decisions we make. I’m leaving with real confidence in the team, our new strategy in place and the future of the charity, and I’ll continue to be a strong advocate for CPSL Mind and the importance of good mental health.”

Alex Page, Trustee and Interim Chair, said:

“Andréa has been an inspiring and values-led Chair. She has led with compassion, integrity and a genuine commitment to the people and communities we serve. Her leadership has helped CPSL Mind grow in impact, reach and outcomes while never losing sight of what matters most, working alongside people to improve wellbeing and reduce inequalities. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and contributions.”

Ashley Bunn, Chief Executive, said:

“It has been a privilege to work alongside Andréa. Her wisdom, encouragement and unwavering belief in our mission have helped shape CPSL Mind, and what we stand for. Through periods of opportunity and challenge, Andréa has provided thoughtful leadership and steadfast support. Thanks to the strong foundations she has helped create, we look to the future with confidence, ambition and a continued commitment to making a positive difference in our communities.”

As we move into our next chapter and launching our new 2026-2030 organisational strategy “Time for Action – Together for Mental Health”, we recognise this is both a time of both opportunity and uncertainty. While the challenges facing our communities and the mental health sector remain significant, we are proud of how far we have come and hopeful about what lies ahead.

Thank you, Andréa, from us all at CPSL Mind, for your dedication, your leadership, for championing the voices of people with lived experience and for believing in the power of community. We wish you every success and happiness in the future and express our utmost gratitude for all that you have shared and brought to CPSL Mind. We’ll miss you 💙
