Join Us for Weekly Walks at Wimpole!

We’re excited to invite you to a brand-new initiative aimed at supporting your mental health and overall wellbeing – weekly Wellbeing Walks at Wimpole Estate, brought to you through a special partnership between CPSL Mind and the National Trust.

Held every Thursday at 10:00am, these gentle, welcoming walks offer a chance to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Wimpole, one of the National Trust’s most picturesque estates.

Whether you’re looking to lift your mood, meet new people, or simply enjoy a peaceful stroll in a safe and supportive space, these walks are for you. Everyone is welcome, no need to be super-fit or have hiking boots. Just bring yourself, some comfy shoes, and an open mind.

What to Expect:

We’ll begin with a relaxing walk through Wimpole’s gardens and parkland, taking time to notice the sights, sounds, and serenity of nature. There’s no rush — these are gentle walks, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors.

After the walk, we invite you to wind down and continue the conversation over a drink at the Good Mood Café – a space designed for connection, reflection, and community. It’s the perfect way to round off the morning and soak up more of the positive energy.

“Spending time in nature, has a real impact on mental health,” says Mark Cooper, Good Life Service Manager at CPSL Mind. “The Good Mood Cafes are a wonderful space for connection and conversation – and working with the National Trust at a place as beautiful as Wimpole makes it all the more special.”

  • When? Thursdays at 10:00am
  • Where? Meet at the Wimpole Estate reception area
  • Cost? Free (participants will receive complimentary access to the estate grounds for the walk)

These walks are open to all and are part of our wider efforts to promote mental wellbeing across our communities. Whether you’re feeling isolated, stressed, or just want a chance to be present in nature, we’d love to see you there.
