CPSL Mind was extremely grateful to receive £1,069 from construction company Kier Regional Building Eastern, after colleagues from their Waterbeach office completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of the local mental health charity.

Fern Hume (Administrator, Kier) said, “We chose CPSL Mind from a staff vote. Overwhelmingly people wanted to support the local charity. With one in four of us at any one time experiencing a diagnosable mental health problem, all of us will know someone who has struggled with their wellbeing. It is incredibly important that we encourage people to talk more about their mental health and to seek support when they need it. Our team did a fantastic job and we are so proud of them and what they’ve achieved.”

Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser for CPSL Mind said, “We were delighted when Kier told us we had been chosen. Having local corporates fundraising for us makes such a difference. It allows us to help even more people who are struggling with their mental health. Last year we provided over 20,000 hours of direct support and our Sanctuary service which helps people in mental health crisis was visited 1,857 times. A huge thank you to the amazing team who completed the challenge and to all the staff at Kier who voted for us.”
