Our Peer Support Groups

The opportunity to share experience and support with others who have lived experience can have huge benefits.

We currently offer three peer support groups from various locations across the county.

Virtual Peer Support Groups.

There are currently spaces available on a number of our Peer Support Groups, which we’re currently hosting online, including our Hearing Voices, Five Ways to Wellbeing and Personality Disorder groups.

Five Ways to Wellbeing peer support

A six month support group aimed at helping people to make positive changes to recover their life and wellbeing. Based on five steps to wellbeing, the programme provides a safe and confidential space for group members to discuss the different aspects of managing wellbeing. These are five steps are: Connect, Be active, Take notice, Keep learning and Give.

Personality Disorder

A fortnightly group which supports people living with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder. People are invited to attend the group for six months where they can gain peer support, learn new ideas and develop insight into their diagnosis. The group supports people to focus on coping skills and strategies to deal with difficult feelings and situations.

Hearing Voices

A fortnightly group which supports people living with hearing voices.

People are invited to attend the group indefinitely where they can gain peer support, learn new ideas and develop insight into their experiences.
