Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we will be honouring the Bank Holiday on Monday 19th September for the state funeral.

Please read on for details of how this will affect our services on the day.

Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we will be honouring the Bank Holiday on Monday 19th September for the state funeral.

As with all Bank Holidays, the majority of our services will be closed on Monday including our telephone line. The only exceptions are our Sanctuary Mental Health Crisis Support and Specialist Community Mental Health Support services which will operate as normal. These services are via professional referral only.

Those who have an appointment or group session planned with us for Monday will be informed directly of cancellations and any plans to reschedule.

If you need help or are experiencing a mental health crisis during this period, support remains available via our ‘Get help now’ page. This includes signposting to the NHS First Response Service who can be contacted in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough by calling 111 and selecting option 2. Additionally, the Samaritans are available nationwide on 116 123. Both services are open 24 hours a day throughout every day of the year.

All of our services will reopen as normal on Tuesday 20th September.
