Peer Discharge Buddy

This service involves working alongside CPFT to provide ‘buddies’ to support individuals being discharged from mental health hospitals (Fulbourn & Edith Cavell) and crisis teams.  We know that being discharged from hospital can be a tough time, when people may need more emotional and practical support. Being a ‘buddy’ can help to support someone through the transition period and promote their independence when settling back in at home.
