Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Individual Personal Support Budgets
- Liaise with Work Coaches regarding the allocation of personal support budgets.
- Ensure that protocols for the authorisation of budgets have been followed in each case.
- Track spending against individual budgets and collate invoices/receipts as evidence of spend.
- Produce detailed reports and accompanying invoices for the program funder on a monthly basis.
Partnerships
- Build a good understanding of local providers, developing strong professional relationships that facilitate smooth delivery of goods and services in support of individuals.
- Seek best value through the use of preferred suppliers and negotiating volume discounts.
- Monitor trends that inform procurement of block purchase/just in time delivery.
Compliance and Best Practice
- Support the team to stay informed about relevant legislation, policies, and best practice related to finance.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal and organisational standards.

Essential Criteria

Communication: Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and instructions.
Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying solutions and overcoming barriers.
Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt strategies and approaches when assessing individual needs and circumstances.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively and build strong professional relationships with a diverse range or stakeholders, including individuals, employers and healthcare providers.
Qualification: Mathematics and English (Minimum GCSE level 4 or equivalent)
Experienced in the use of Microsoft 365 applications including, Sharepoint, Excel and Word.
Desirable:
Knowledge of finance processes and working in a financial environment
