Tuesdays, 10am–12pm from 2–30 June 2015 at Mind’s Cambridge office.

“Drawing for beginners” is aimed at people of all levels of drawing ability, from absolute beginners to artists with some experience. It offers an introduction to drawing using a variety of media and techniques. In addition to developing drawing skills, it will also help people to connect with their creativity to explore their mental health and wellbeing.

Research shows engaging in art can help people to draw upon inner creative resources to benefit their mental health and wellbeing. It provides a language to articulate challenges and helps to build confidence and self-esteem.

With only 10 places available, download more details now and then visit the Wellbeing Service page to make a referral.

This course is provided by Cambridge Community Arts, the project is financed by the European Union.
