Vicky Towers smashes target and raises £500 for CPSL Mind

Vicky TowersCambridgeshire Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) was extremely impressed when Vicky Towers decided to sky dive to raise money for the local mental health charity. She set herself a £300 target which she smashed – raising £500 for the charity.

Vicky Towers from Bourne said, “I wanted to raise money for this local cause as it is an amazing charity. I’ve had friends and family who have had mental health problems. Today it affects one in four of us in any one year and it is nothing to be ashamed of. I hope my sky dive will help to raise awareness of this important issue.”

Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser for CPSL Mind said, “Having never done a sky dive before, we were so impressed with Vicky’s courage and determination. She did an amazing job and we are so grateful for the money she has raised. This donation will go towards helping local people in their recovery from mental health problems. Thank you Vicky for all of your hard work!”
