University Good Life Project

 

CPSL Mind in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Cambridge are offering wellbeing support for students.

We understand that our mental health fluctuates and that being a student can bring about unique challenges that can affect mental health.

We are facilitating Good Mood Cafes and Open Door calm spaces online each week for students studying in Cambridge.

These sessions are aimed at supporting Cambridge students to build connections with other students, learn self-help techniques and connect to personal strengths.

This project is funded by the Cantab Integrated Neighbourhood and Cam Medical Primary Care Network.

 

Virtual Good Mood Cafes

Our weekly online Good Mood Cafes offer informal wellbeing support, while connecting you to other students within your university. They offer a positive and safe space to share interests, skills or experiences. Feeling connected is key to positive wellbeing and resilience.

It’s OK not to be OK, so you don’t have to be in a good mood to come along to our online Good Mood Cafes – but we hope everyone will leave feeling better than when they joined.

Virtual Open Door calm spaces

Everyone feels overwhelmed at times and our student online Open Door calm spaces provide somewhere to go if you need a bit of space and tranquillity.

These sessions offer guidance on self-help techniques which can help you to ‘ground yourself’ and feel better both in that moment and in the future.

We will soon be running information sessions offering support and guidance to identify local services that can best help your mental health and wellbeing.

You can sign up to join the online Good Mood Cafes and/or Open Door calm spaces by emailing us at unigoodlife@cpslmind.org.uk or calling us on 0300 303 4363.

Please use your university email address and let us know which sessions you’d like to join. We will then send you a private link and password which you can use to safely and securely join our Good Mood cafes and Open Door calm spaces using Zoom.
