Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind), was delighted when the Tickell Arms in Whittlesford organised a weekend of fundraising activity and raised £300 for the local mental health charity.
On Friday the local restaurant/pub organised a coffee morning with lots of fresh, homemade cakes and on the Sunday they held an evening pub quiz which was very well attended.
Casey Mitchell, Tickell Arms said, “We are so pleased to be supporting CPSL Mind. Mental health is such a big issue and affects so many people. The work the charity does, providing direct support to local people is extremely important and we are delighted to lend our support.”
Zoe Doherty, CPSL Mind fundraiser said, “We are really grateful to the Tickell Arms for organising such great fundraising events. Everyone clearly had a great time and the money raised will go towards helping local people in their recovery from mental health challenges. A huge thank you everyone who as involved.”
