Good news for carers – and can you spare some time to contribute to making things better for carers?
Following the Launch of the Triangle of Care at Cambridge & Peterborough Foundation Trust [CPFT] it would be extremely helpful if some carers of CPFT service users would support CPFT in ensuring the Triangle of Care is set up for the benefit of carers and for the loved ones they care for.
Carers are needed to help CPFT gather information on those services being self-assessed, and to contribute to the workshops which will be run with staff teams to help plan how CPFT progresses with the Triangle of Care.
The gathering of information may involve getting experiences from fellow carers who the ‘cared for’ received services from CPFT. This may be through one to one or focus groups, perhaps both.
If you require any further information please contact the email address below. Also, you may be interested in a carer engagement volunteer role, should you want to pursue this avenue.
Although the programme will be over 18 months, any commitment to the project will be gratefully received.
You may only be interested in one ward or team for the period of assessment; it is open for you to negotiate. Respond to Triangleofcare@cpft.nhs.uk
