Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind were delighted to hear they had been chosen by Greenwoods GRM LLP, as their Charity of the Year for 2018.
Greenwoods GRM LLP’s main fundraiser was their Thames Path Charity Challenge sponsored walk, which took place on Saturday 18th August. A brave team of 12 started off at the Magna Carta Monument and walked 33 miles across London, finishing at their London office of 1 Bedford Row, with a further 6 walking between 8 and 27 miles.
In total, Greenwoods GRM LLP raised in excess of £3,500 for CPSL Mind, through a variety of activities, including: cake sales, a quiz, raffles and lots of festivities such as pumpkin carving and Christmas gift wrapping.
Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser for CPSL Mind commented, “We are so grateful to Greenwoods GRM LLP for choosing us to support. Today, one in four of us at any one time in the year will have a diagnosable mental health condition. This donation will help us to continue to provide our much-needed services to local people who are recovering from mental health challenges. A massive thank you to everyone who was involved.”
Stephanie Wilcox, Head of Greenwoods GRM’s charity committee, said “We were delighted to support a charity which provides such important services in the Cambridgeshire area. Fundraising for CPSL Mind and raising awareness for mental health in the process, has been a great experience.”
