Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) was delighted when they received a fantastic donation of £3,070 from local company Amino Communications.
Over the Christmas period, Amino Communications, the global provider of digital TV entertainment solutions to network operators, held a raffle which staff, family and friends could enter. There were a number of fantastic prizes on offer including a Playstation 4 Pro, 3 Fitbits, a variety of hampers and Amazon vouchers. The raffle raised just over £1,500 with Amino Communications very generously doubling the total.
Donald McGarva (CEO, Amino Communications) said, “Last year we very sadly lost a friend of the business, who took his own life. He is greatly missed by all of us and we wanted to do something in his memory. We chose CPSL Mind as they do fantastic work at a local level and we all know how important it is to look after your mental health.”
Zoe Doherty, fundraiser for CPSL said, “It was great to meet the team at Amino Communications and accept this wonderful donation. This donation will go towards helping local people in their recovery from mental health problems. It will also help to fund our campaign work, including our STOP Suicide campaign, which seeks to empower individuals to help stop suicides by being alert to the warning signs, asking directly about suicide and helping those who are feeling suicidal to stay safe. A huge thank you to all the staff for this very generous donation”.
