Blue Light Wellbeing Working Group

The county-wide, multi-service working group that will comprise senior operational, human resource and occupational health managers from Fire, Police, Ambulance and Search & Rescue services.  The Working Group will meet quarterly to:

  • Raise key wellbeing-related issues
  • Share good practice – national, regional and local
  • Conduit for communication to senior managers, middle managers and staff
  • Develop shared resources
  • Inform ‘bite-sized’ briefings programme: e.g. mindfulness, managing anxiety

This activity is being led by Blue Light Network Co-ordinator Jenny Swain, who will also be delivering the highly evaluated, awareness-raising Mind Blue Light Managers Training across all four services.
