Peterborough TSB raises £821 for local mental health charity CPSL Mind

TSB photoCambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) was delighted when the local TSB branch in Peterborough chose them as their charity of the year for 2016/17 and raised an impressive £821.

The bank which has 16 members of staff chose CPSL Mind through a staff vote. Fundraising all year, they organised cake sales, a charity bike ride, dress down days, including a Halloween themed day as well as a Christmas raffle.

Lawrence Hart, Store Manager TSB said, “Supporting local causes is very important to us. Mental health is such a big issue and affects so many of us. I am delighted that this money will go towards helping local people in their recovery,”

Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser for CPSL Mind said, “We were so pleased to be chosen by TSB. With one in four of use experiencing a diagnosable mental health condition in any one year, the need for our services increases all the time. A huge thank you to Lawrence and all the staff at TSB Peterborough for all their hard work and support.”
