Cambridgeshire Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) were delighted to be presented with a cheque for £2,500 from the Gild of St Mary Lodge.

A year of fundraising, including a very successful concert by the City of Ely Military Band, held in the Bishops Garden, Ely, a wine tasting evening held in September as well as donations from various Masonic charity funds contributed to the total raised.

Worshipful Master, Alan Brown commented, “Mental health is such an important issue with 1 in 4 people at any one time during the year having a mental health condition. We are thrilled to present this cheque to CPSL Mind the work they do is so important and we hope this donation will help many local people get the support they need”.

Zoe Doherty, fundraiser for CPSL Mind said, “This is a generous donation from the Gild of St Mary Lodge, their support means a great deal to us and will help us with services like counselling and specialist support that makes a real difference to others getting their lives back on track”.
